verhuurindex.be is an initiative of Vastgoedhandel Suc-6 NV, based in Heist-op-den-Berg, Belgium. As property owners with our own portfolio of rental properties, we found that annual rent indexation was always a time-consuming and often uncomfortable task: looking up the correct index figures, performing the calculation, drafting a proper letter and then delivering it to the tenant.
From that experience, a clear ambition emerged within our real estate office: this process must be simpler, more efficient and more professional. That's how verhuurindex.be was born — a platform that fully automates rent indexation, from correct calculation to official communication. Objective, discreet and fully compliant with the law.
Today, we support landlords across Belgium — both private and professional — in carrying out their rent indexations correctly, on time and worry-free. What started as an internal solution has grown into a reliable service for landlords in Flanders, Brussels and Wallonia.
Many landlords postpone the indexation or don't apply it at all — often because it feels confrontational to ask for a rent increase yourself.
